WHAT THEY ARE

Tecnoseal Foundry technical staff carries out inspections aimed at assessing, checking and characterizing cathodic protection conditions.

Assessment is a very important process to highlight whether the work practically realized, is in line with the calculations and in general with the cathodic protection pian.

Checks aim to figure out whether corrosion processes are taking place or whether any issues identified, such as corrosion of metals, are strictly related to galvanic currents or other factors affecting the characteristic of metals.

Lastly, in many cases, Tecnoseal’s technical staff is called upon to intervene to characterize the nature of corrosion processes.

The characterization of corrosion processes is crucial to defining customized and targeted cathodic protection plans tailored to the need.

At each on-site inspection, Tecnoseal staff always issues a report attesting the objective condition of what they observe and establishing the basis for the required intervention procedures.

In many cases, especially when inspections are required for checking, the customer is only guaranteed that there are no galvanic problems.
